Wind Symphony

Director: Brandon Fisher

The Wind Symphony is the Varsity performing ensemble at McKinney High School. Students in this ensemble have the opportunity to continue their musical development performing highly advanced musical selections. In order to be in this group, students must demonstrate the highest level of musical maturity, technical proficiency, and commitment in rehearsal and performance.  Students must diligently pursue individual goals on their instrument and perform in Region Auditions as well as the McKinney Ensemble Contest and Solo Contest. Private lessons are an expectation for all Wind Symphony members. Financial aid is available. Participation in the marching band is required. Students will receive half a P.E. credit for marching band during fall semester and Fine Arts credit for the full year.
