From Mr. Williams:

Parents and students:

I hope everyone is having a relaxing summer so far! It is with mixed emotions that I inform you that I will not be returning to the Royal Pride Band program for the 2018-2019 school year.

I have recently accepted a head band director position at Faubion Middle School. Although I am changing schools, I am happy to still serve the McKinney ISD community and work as a bridge for band students transitioning from middle school to high school.

First of all, thank you for allowing me to serve your children day in and day out! You have raised some fine young men and women that are destined for success.  It has been a real joy watching your children mature and progress over the past two years.  I have been honored to spend so much time with you and thank those of you who are consistently there serving both your children and us, the directors.

Thank you for letting me be a part of your lives! I cannot believe how far you all have come, and cannot wait to see what the future holds for each of you. All of you have contributed greatly to the Royal Pride Band program, which has helped lay the foundation of success for its future. I have faith that Mr. Ringel, Mr. Renzenbrink, Mr. Cass, and Mr. Tyree will find someone extraordinary to further and help you reach your goals. You will always be my babies, and I will never forget the impact that you all have had on my life. I can only hope that I have done the same for you.

Mr. Ringel, Mr. Renzenbrink, Mr. Cass and Mr. Tyree – Thank you all for being fantastic mentors and friends. I could not have asked for a better group of people to help guide me through my beginning years as an educator.  You all have taught me many things that I cherish and will take with me for years to come!

Thank you Royal Pride Band family for your undying love and support! You will always have a special place in my heart. GO BAND!!!

All My Very Best,

Shiree Williams
